We are proud to announce that our recognition as Certification Body for the new EU regulation has been officially granted by the European Commission.
Control Union is one of the few CBs already authorized to certify to the new EU Organic Regulation (EU) 2018/848), which establishes the rules on production, certification, labelling and advertising of organic food and feed, and other products such as cotton and essential oils. Control Union is also recognised for the greatest number of countries globally.
From January 1, 2025, all organic products marketed in the EU must fully comply with these regulations, including certification by an accredited Certification Body.
