GLOBALG.A.P. Certification Process1. Application: complete the application and return it to the email
comercial.peru@controlunion.com CU will review the information and determine if it is possible to send you a financial proposal.
2. Contract: our commercial executives will send you an economic proposal, describing the costs of the service per calendar year. Along with the offer letter you will find the Contract Terms.
- If you agree to the offer, return a copy signed by the legal representative. Once this is done, you enter into an agreement with CU to join one of our certification programs.
- Contract terms
3. Planning: after receiving the payment of the fee for the service, CU will send you the relevant documents that you must complete before carrying out the audit and at the same time we will plan the date of your visit.
4. Initial Audit: This is a client's first audit for a CU certification program. A qualified auditor or audit team will assess your operation's compliance with the program requirements. If necessary, samples will be taken for analysis in an accredited laboratory, and you will be informed about the different laboratories. As a result of the audit, non-compliances (NCs) against program requirements can be identified. The auditor will inform you of these during the closing meeting and will indicate the deadlines to resolve them.
You must submit your corrections, cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve the NCs. This information will be evaluated by the auditor, who will determine whether or not the information is sufficient to close the NC.
5. Certification decision: based on the results of the audit (reports, analysis results, operation information, among others), a certifier will make a decision about your operation, granting or not a certification.
6. Maintenance of Certification: the client must demonstrate that he continues to meet the requirements of the program for which he is certified. This is done through different types of audits: monitoring or surveillance, recertification, scope expansion, unannounced audits, sampling, among others.
- CU will inform you about the audit program that corresponds to your operation.
- As a result of this process, CU will decide whether to maintain, expand, reduce, suspend or withdraw the certification granted.
