IFS standards guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers and suppliers fulfill their responsibilities, offering safe and compliant products to the end consumer.
Certification to IFS standards is often a fundamental requirement for leading retailers, private labels, manufacturers and food service companies internationally.
IFS standards apply to different sectors within the supply chain, including food manufacturing, packaging materials, logistics and product trade, among others. Each standard integrates key elements such as top management commitment, risk assessment, hazard analysis (HACCP), quality management and good manufacturing practices.

The IFS PACsecure standard is designed to assess the manufacturing and converting processes of packaging materials, with a focus on product safety, quality and compliance with legal and customer requirements.
This standard helps companies respond to increasing market demands in terms of transparency and traceability, and contributes to strengthening product integrity and improving operational efficiency. IFS PACsecure is a standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
